Callum Robertson for East of England Chair
About me: as a Law student at the University of Essex who originally comes from Peterborough I both grew up and study in the region. I’ve acquired political experience as a former parish councillor, contested two council by-elections for the party, and will be standing for council again in May. I’m also a founding member of Liberal Democrats for Prison Reform.
Outside of politics, I’m the director of Essex law clinic and have been a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts since 2017.
My three-point plan for our region:
1). Increase the number of branches in the region from the current 4 to six (at least one in each county)
2). Set up a strategy for getting Young Liberals selected as candidates in the 2019 local elections
3). Set up a campaigning network to support Young Liberals in target seats at all levels
