Improve Mental Health Services in Universities

Many universities and their Student Unions have put a lot of effort and resources into their mental health and welfare services. When accessed and used to their full potential, these services can provide a lifeline for those who are finding it hard to cope. But for many new and visiting students, transitioning into these services is another challenge at a difficult time. 

It doesn’t have to be like that.  

The Mental Well-Being in Higher Education working group published new guidelines for Universities on the 13th of February, which can be found here. Liberal Youth wants to see them be adopted across all institutions. 

We want to help young people make the best of higher education and give them a springboard into their future.
