'No detriment' or 'safety net' policies ensure students do not fall below their average mark from before COVID disruption hit. Many universities implemented them last academic year - why not now?

No-detriment policies ensure that students cannot fall below their average mark from before COVID-19 restrictions were in place. Policies vary from university to university, but we're calling for all universities to implement a no-detriment policy that works for their students.

Students do not have the resources, support, or environment we need to reach our full potential. This is through no fault of our own, and our degrees determine our future opportunities. Why should these unavoidable circumstances put our futures at risk?

Students are still isolated, struggling, and suffering. The Young Liberals are demanding no detriment policies for students, now
