Nominations are now open for Liberal Youth’s annual elections.
This means that any Liberal Youth member may put themselves forward for any position on Liberal Youth’s Federal Executive or its committees. We are also simultaneously running the elections for IR Cymru/Liberal Youth Wales, however elections for Liberal Youth England and Liberal Youth Scotland will be held in the new year.
If you wish to stand for any of these positions please email your nomination, to our Returning Officer, Caron, at [email protected] by 8pm on Sunday 6th September. Any nominations received after this time will not be accepted. Your nomination must include:
• Membership Number
• Local Party
• Position standing for
• Email Address
• Mobile Number
• Postal Address
• The written consent of the candidate to be nominated for election
The Returning Officer must also receive, by the close of nominations, from each candidate a manifesto no larger than one side of A5. This may include any artwork you wish but if it contains any endorsements must be accompanied by written verification of the individual providing the endorsement. Two people may stand jointly for a job share for any of these roles, for more details please see the Liberal Youth constitution or contact me.

All members for that we have an email address for, will be sent a link to their ballot paper on Sunday 13th September. If we do not have an email address for you, you will receive a postal ballot. Please note that we require an individual email address for every member. We are aware that there are some members who share an email address. If this applies to you, and you each wish to receive an electronic ballot paper, you should notify me with an alternate email address by the close of nominations.
Voting will be open until 8pm on Sunday 27th September.
