Erin is a PhD student at the University of York, researching language and religious diversity in the philosophy department. She also works in regulatory policy research, contributing to papers on a wide range of subjects from energy markets to Brexit - her work on the later has even been used by parliamentarians to promote the benefits of single market membership.
Erin is committed to advocating for young voices in the Liberal Democrats. She previously sat as Chair of English Young Liberals, has served as Chair of University of York Liberal Democrats, and currently is on Young Liberals Policy Committee. Her priorities for the year are developing forward thinking strategies and a robust institutional memory for the Young Liberals.
Erin once hiked the length of the country to raise money for a Children’s legal charity, and in her spare time you would find her hiking again, if she ever had any.
