University of Oxford

Oxford University Liberal Democrats is the oldest student political society at Oxford and have always played an important part in the city’s politics.

Having campaigned hard for Layla Moran in the 2017 General Election, we also have a strong history of standing student candidates in the local elections, coming within 7 votes of winning in 2018.

We run many events throughout the term, with weekly Spirited Discussions, events with prominent liberal speakers, campaigning, and socials with other student societies.

Elections are run every term so everyone has a chance to get involved.
