Bio:
Miguel is the candidate for Fulwell Ward on Sunderland City Council, and a Politics student at Newcastle University. While studying Journalism from 2021 to 2023, he investigated churches providing Conversion Therapy, and worked as a copywriter for non-profits like Show Racism the Red Card.
Duties:
- Coordinate Young Liberals action days in target seats, including setting a timetable for action days, communication with local parties, and keeping members’ attendance and morale high;
- Run and coordinate the Young and Winning Scheme alongside the Elections Committee;
- Support young members who are standing for election; and
- Support the work of the Elections Committee in carrying out its duties.
