Joining the Young Liberals

So you would like to join the Young Liberals - how are you able to do so?

First, you must be a member of the Liberal Democrats, which you can join at libdems.org.uk/join-local - full time students, and under 18s are also eligible for concessionary rates.

From there, you automatically are a Young Liberal if you meet the following criteria!

• Are under the age of 30;
• A student

However, you may not be marked in the system as a Young Liberal despite being eligible, as the party tries to collect as little data as possible, so you may need to tell them you are, indeed, a Young Liberal.

We have made you an easy email template for you here. Note that you need your membership number handy (either at the back of your membership card, or any email the party sends you).

NB: You should already be marked as a Young Liberal if you were under 18 when you joined, or are under 30 and filled out a diversity form signifying that.
