Joining the Young Liberals

So you would like to join the Young Liberals - how are you able to do so?

First, you must be a member of the Liberal Democrats, which you can join at libdems.org.uk/join-local - full time students, and under 18s are also eligible for concessionary rates.

From there, you may need to tell the party whether or not you are eligible to be a Young Liberal. You are eligible if you meet at least one of two criteria:

• Are under the age of 30;
• A student

From there, all you need to do is tell us that you are a Young Liberal. We have made you an easy email template for you here. Note that you need your membership number handy (either at the back of your membership card, or any email the party sends you).

NB: You should already be a Young Liberal if you were under 18 when you joined, or are under 30 and filled out a diversity form signifying that.
