Bio: Elin is a newer party member but a long-time politics aficionado, having graduated with a first-class Politics degree from King’s College London in 2022. Her belief in liberty, equality, democracy, community, human rights, internationalism, and environmentalism—and ultimately, her love for people—has led her to wear many hats: from working in her local church, to fundraising for a major international humanitarian charity, to running for her local council.
She’s concerned by the rise of populist ideology and the growing disengagement with politics among her peers, and believes the work of the Young Liberals is vital to showing young people that their voice matters. When not persuading people to vote, you can find her cooking an over-ambitious meal for friends, on a long walk with a good view, or drinking a matcha latte.
Duties
i. Coordinate fundraising activity and campaigns including at the state and regional level;
ii. Lead fundraising campaigns for the Young Liberals as a whole or specific projects;
iii. Ensure that the Registered Officers have access to all the information required to discharge their legal duties effectively.
