Mackenzie joined the party in 2024, and has just completed his A-levels. Mackenzie is also the chair of the East of England Young Liberals and is a heavily involved local campaigner, making sure people's concerns are voiced in party policy. Away from politics, he likes travelling, reading and cycling around the Suffolk countryside, where he is from.

Executive Duties:

  1. Attend meetings of the Federal Policy Committee as the representative of the Young Liberals;
  2. Coordinate and support the Policy Committee in carrying out its dutie specified in the Constitution, including submitting policy motions to Liberal Democrat conferences;
  3. Maintain the Policy Book, a central record of policies adopted by the Young Liberals according to provisions in the Constitution;
  4. Answer Executive or members’ queries relating to Young Liberals policy, for example ensuring that Young Liberals campaigns are accordance with policy;
  5. Support members with submitting policy motions to Young Liberals for Liberal Democrat conference(s), including help with drafting and advice on content; and
  6. Plan and deliver training sessions to support our members to develop and make policy
