Conferences are usually the highlights of the YL calendar!
Party political conferences are debating, policy-making and social events - for the Lib Dems and Young Liberals, it's how we make policy. We run training and social events alongside policy debates.
If you've never come to a party conference before, why not check out our Conference 101 guide below?
Conference will open on the afternoon of Friday 16th August 2024 and will close late afternoon on Sunday 18th August 2024.
The agenda will be confirmed by the Events Officer and Committee closer to the time, but main conference business will usually take place between 9am and 6pm on Saturdays, and 9am and 4pm on Sundays.
Policies and constitutional amendments are a key part of our Conferences. They give you the chance to put your ideas forward for debate and discussion, and shape our future policy positions.
